WATCH: Georgia Voters Shock Fox Host Ahead Of DeSantis-Newsom Debate - 'GEORGIA IS TRUMP COUNTRY'

On Thursday evening, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) will be facing off in a 90-minute debate against Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) in Alpharetta, Georgia. The debate is expected to be a showdown between the two governors' governance styles as both a Republican and Democrat. However, while DeSantis is likely hoping that the debate will bolster his primary chances against leading Republican presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump, Georgia voters have already made up their minds.

The Great Red vs. Blue State Debate will be moderated by Fox's Sean Hannity and can be viewed on the Fox News Channel or listened to on Fox News Radio. You can also stream the debate online on FoxNews.com. Hannity will be focusing the debate on a number of issues including the economy, the border, immigration, crime, and inflation.

Ahead of the debate, 'Fox & Friends' went down to Georgia to talk to everyday voters and ask them who they think will win the upcoming election. To nobody's surprise, Trump was the answer all around. "Who do you think is going to win this election?" Lawrence Jones asked voters in Fortson, Georgia. Every single voter that Jones asked backed Trump's nomination, causing the Fox host to note, "We are in Georgia, and it is pretty much Trump country, so I am not surprised that you've got a lot of folks who feel like Donald Trump is going to win."

"I told you so!" Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) wrote on X/Twitter in response to the clip. "Like I said earlier this week, GA is voting for Trump!" Trump is dominating the competition in the Peach State, with recent polling showing him up by as much as 45 points on Gov. DeSantis. His lead is even stronger nationally, with 60 percent of Republican primary voters backing him for the nomination, while only 12.6 percent support DeSantis and 9.5 percent support former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley (R-SC).

As President Trump's lead continues to strengthen across the country and remain solid in the early primary states, DeSantis continues to struggle to get attention. His debate with Gov. Newsom will likely do little to help his primary chances. However, it will likely go to show the power of conservative governance. Americans across the country will tune in to watch the upcoming debate, but it won't change the math of the Florida governor as Trump continues to dominate.
